Why Narendra Modi wins in Varanasi?
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 March 2014 5:38 AM GMTDespite multi-cornered contest, BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will most probably be victorious contesting from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat as the secular vote would split.
Aam Admi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, Samajwadi Party's Kailash Chaurasia, BSP's Vijay Jayaswal, Congress candidate and Qaumi Ekta Dal's Mukhtar Ansari will be in race this time for Varanasi seat. The 6-cornered contest will eventually benefit Narendra Modi as the anti-BJP vote is getting split.
On the other hand, Narendra Modi choose Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh as his second Lok Sabha seat as this state consists of 80 Parliament seats. He feels contesting from here will surely strengthen the prospects of BJP and will also improve his chances of becoming prime minister.
