Why No Claps And Cheers For KCR's Speech?
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Nov 2020 10:13 AM GMTAn unusually mellowed KCR...This was the hallmark of the TRS boss at the Lal Bahadur Stadium. KCR was very restrained in his speech on Saturday at the Lal Bahadur stadium. Gone were the fireworks that KCR was famous for. He was sedate, slow, cool and uncharacteristically restrained.
Even the TRS cadre were surprised by the cool KCR. In fact, the response from the crowd was minimal when he was reeling out the achievements of his government during the past six years. The crowd did not cheer. But, when she started blaming the BJP and especially Bandi Sanjay, the hoots and catcalls reached a crescendo. At one point, he used the word 'Naa Kodukulu' a pejorative for the BJP leaders. But, he did not take the name of the BJP during his speech .
But soon KCR controlled himself and lapsed into his sedate self. This speech sans pyrotechnic apparently was not to the liking of the crowds. Towards the end, several persons in the audience stood up and began making their way towards the games. Several chairs remained empty towards the end of the meeting.
