Why Palvai Sravanthi will be all alone in Munugode campaign?

While the whole state is focused on what will happen in the Munugode bypoll, one major political party is now focused on something else. From the lowest to the top most, every leader is busy with welcoming a guest who is on a padayatra through Telangana. No marks for guessing which party it is and which leader is on a padayatra.

The whole of the Congress machinery is head over heels over Rahul Gandhi's visit to Telangana. His Bharat Jodi Yatra will enter Telangana near Krishna river from Karnataka at 10 am on Sunday. The party has mobilised all its resources to ensure that the workers turn up in strength to welcome Rahul Gandhi. Elaborate arrangements have been made for the visit.

The excitement has reached its peak among the Congress workers over the fact that both Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi too could join Rahul Gandhi at Hyderabad on October 31. They are likely to garland the Indira Gandhi statue on the Necklace Road. They are also likely to address a public meeting on the occasion.

Significantly, the whole yatra is happening when the campaign in Munugode bypoll will reach its peak. On October 31, the penultimate day of the election campaign, all the Congress leaders will accompany Sonia Gandhi and there will literally be no one in Munugode where Congress candidate Palvai Sravanthi is fighting a last ditch battle.
