Ever since Shivraj Singh Chouhan is back as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, this saffron-robed Swamiji is in deep trouble. The Swami in question is known by a funny sobriquet 'Computer Baba.' The Kamal Nath government pampered this Swami and made him chief of River Conservation Authority. He was also given a cabinet rank.
However, soon after coming to power, the BJP government has removed his support staff and withdrew the official vehicle provided to the Swami. It is also planning to remove him from the post. A notification is expected soon after the lockdown is lifted. The Swami has been a controversial one. He had in 2019, campaigned for the Congress and spoke at several election meetings. He even claimed that he would commit suicide if Congress biggie Digvijay Singh lost to Sadhvi Pragya Thakur in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. However, Diggie Raja lost badly, but the Swami refused to commit suicide. The Swami was given a cabinet rank soon after the Congress came to power in the state.
Now, the Baba is spending the lockdown time in his ashram in Indore. He has stopped attending the office. Sources say that the BJP would send him packing once normal life resumes.
