Why TDP Wants This MLA To Stay Back In Party

Barely a month ago, the TDP was brimming with activity and its leaders were raving and ranting against KCR. Today, the TDP is down and out. It barely managed to win just two seats. Now, even those two MLAs are all set to ditch the party and join the ruling TRS. This is sending shock waves among the TDP rank and file. The top bosses too are doing everything they can to prevent the MLAs from crossing over.
Among those who are billed to defect is Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah. Sandra was one of those rare MLAs who refuse to take KCR's bait till now. Though the TRS tried every trick in the trade to lure him during the last assembly, he did not join the TRS. But, this time around, he seems to have decided to join the TRS as there is no future for the TDP in Telangana. If Sandra goes, the TDP would be completely wiped out in Telangana.
Hence the TDP leaders are trying to impress upon Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and make him stay back. They are trying to tell him that those who switched over to the TRS were ill treated there. They are doing everything except falling at his feet. But, Sandra seems to have decided to latch on to the TRS bandwagon.
