By: Tupaki Desk | 12 April 2020 6:21 AM GMTWho would not pick up a Rs 2000 note found on the road? Everyone would scramble to grab the note. But, in times of Corona, things are different. No one would even want to pick the currency note lying on the road.
In a recent incident in Suntanur village of Kalburgi district of Karnataka, the people found a few currency notes lying on the road. The notes has some spit on it. Onlookers said that three unidentified people with masks came to the main road of the village and threw these notes after spitting. They immediately informed the village elders. On knowing about it, the village elders gathered and decided to burn the notes with the help of a fire lighted at the end of a long stick. The people felt this was a ruse by some miscreants to spread corona.
The villagers ensured that no one touched the notes with bare hands. They also informed the authorities about the incident.
