Why this Congress state Incharge Is Different?

The Telangana Congress leaders are surprised by party state affairs incharge Manickam Tagore's mercurial ways. Normally, state observers stay in Delhi and stay closer to the top echelons of the party. They visit the state once in a while and pass some orders. They usually try to know what is happening in the state from various sources and thus play into the hands of one lobby or the other.
But, Manickam Tagore appears to be quite different. He is spending most of his time in Hyderabad. He is holding regular review meeting and is calling up the party leaders at odd times for discussions As a result, he is keeping the Congress leaders of Telangana always on their toes. By staying in Hyderabad most of the times, he has completely eliminated the bunch of leaders, who used to be carriers of information who drill into the ears of the High Command with only a half complete picture. Also, Tagore is accessible to the rank and file of the party. Thus, the high command is not too far away from the ordinary Congress worker anymore.
He is also taking the senior Congress leaders to task when the latter try to give him some advice. He seems to be the Congress version of Sunil Deodhar, who stays put in the state assigned to him and goes to the grassroots. It is very difficult to fool such leaders, quipped a senior Congress leader.
