Why this fuss about Purandeswari?

A section of media began showing former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari in bad light for spending just Rs 20 lakhs as election expenses in recent general elections. This just shows the way our society has been heading towards day-by-day.
Daggubati Purandeswari won as Member of Parliament in her first two elections purely based on the charisma of NTR's Daughter and her performance. Knowing that victory isn't easy in Rajampet Lok Sabha segment, She choose to contest respecting the decision of BJP Leadership and appealed people to vote for her based on her work in the past decade. She isn't the kind of leader who use money power to buy the votes.
Instead of appreciating her for the kind of leader she is, People began blaming Purandeswari for the defeat in Rajampet Lok Sabha constituency. Its high time voters realize we need leaders like her for a better society.
