Why TRS Cadres Love Sravana Masam?

The month of Sravana is an auspicious one and most TRS leaders feel doubly elated during this month as their boss KCR is a great believer in these things. They are also happy that many auspicious events happen during this period and this gives them an opportunity to go and meet KCR on the pretext of giving an invitation card to him.
The point is whether KCR attends the function or not, the leader would get an opportunity to interact with him. If luck smiles on him, KCR might also grant him some special nominated post. And there are some such instances. For instance, when Allipuram Venkateshwara Reddy, nominated chief of the sports authority, went to the CMO to extend an invitation, a happy KCR immediately granted him an extension in the post. Similarly, another party senior M Samuel met him on his birthday, KCR granted him a key post. Since then, most of the TRS leaders are now seeking appointments with KCR on the pretext of extending an invitation for some programme or the other.
But, not everyone is successful. For instance, SC corporation chairperson Pidamarthy Ravi met KCR recently to extend an invitation for his marriage. Ravi's term as SC Corporation chief is drawing to a close and he badly needs an extension to stay afloat. KCR simply took his invitation and did not say a word about the invitation.
