Why YCP is Not In Favour of the Amaravati Proposal?

The Amaravati farmers started the second yatra recently and it is going at a good pace. Barring a few issues, the yatra is going on smoothly. A few former Union Ministers, including Renuka Chowdhury supported the Amaravati farmers and said they wish for the successful completion of the yatra 2.0.
Since the yatra was started, the YCP has been attacking the farmers and yatra. The leaders are opposing the yatra and they are asking why the farmers are going for yatra when the government is talking about developing all the regions in the state.
On the starting day of the yatra, Ambati Rambu said the yatra is a super fake yatra. Later, a few Ministers asked where are the farmers in the yatra as they are seeing people with cars and gold. Now it's the turn of Kodali Nani to target the Amaravati yatra.
Lashing out at the yatra, Kodali Nani asked if the yatra is for Chandrababu Naidu or the capital. He expressed his dissatisfaction over the yatra as the government is thinking about the decentralisation of development with three capitals
After coming to power, YCP took a big u-turn and proposed the three capitals idea. The ruling party has been targeting the Amaravati yatra and no one knows the reason behind this.
A few experts say that YCP might be feeling that developing Amaravati as the capital region would make Chandrababu Naidu get the credit as he pitched the Capital idea. Moreover, Vizag and Kurnool are developed cities and it will not take big amounts to develop them further. Due to these reasons, the YCP might be opposing Amaravati as the political experts.
