Why YSRC fears Repolling in Jammalamadugu?
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 May 2014 3:45 AM GMTYSR Congress party urged Election Commision to reconsider its decision to conduct re-polling in as many as 3-polling stations of Jammalamadugu Assembly segment in Kadapa Lok Sabha Constituency on May 13th.
YSRC Leader PNV Prasad claimed no untoward incidents were reported what-so-ever in Jammalamadugu to order for a repelling in 80, 81 and 82 polling stations. He asserted none among the polling officer or sector officer or micro-observer in Jammalamadugu filed a complaint stating clashes took place in the segment. He alleged EC has taken the decision based on the accusations of rival party TDP.
Why does YSRC fears a repelling if the party is too strong in the Assembly segment and it has done nothing wrong on the polling day? YSRC activists were behind the clashes and there were even reports of rigging in several polling booths in Jammalamadugu on May 7th. Will the repolling affect the prospects of YSRC Candidate C Adinarayana Reddy?
