Wicket-keeper batsman top buy in IPL 2022,beats Shreyas Iyer

The Two-day Mega auction for Indian Premier League(IPL) 2022 in Bengaluru is being held and the teams are making sure that they hit the bull's eye while picking players for the pool of talent. A few players were purchased by the teams for high prices.
The four-time IPL Trophy winner Mumbai Indians team which left the wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan ahead of the mega auction had purchased him back for a whopping price of Rs 15.25 crore. Four teams took part in the bid for the player.
Though three other franchises tried their level best, the luck was on the Mumbai Indians side and the team won the bid for Rs 15.25 crore. Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans, SunRisers Hyderabad took part in the bidding and lost to Mumbai Indians.
Ishan Kishan emerged as the top buy in the auction and even surpassed Shreyas Iyer who was purchased by the KKR for Rs 12.25 crore. The Wicket-keeper batsman became the second most costly player in the history of IPL after Yuvraj Singh.
An unfortunate development took place after Auctioneer Hugh Edmeades Collapsed on dias in the middle of the event. Thankfully, nothing happened to him and he is doing fine now. As he collapsed, Charu Sharma took his place.
