Wife Can Know Husband's Salary Details: HC

Madhya Pradesh High Court observed a Woman have every right to know about the salary details by her Husband.
Sunita Jain, petitioner, sought increase of maintenance amount from her Estranged Husband who was a senior officer in BSNL. She is being paid Rs 7,000 per month as maintenance so far.
A Trail Court turned down the plea of Sunita Jain regarding maintenance hike. Then, She filed a Right To Information (RTI) Application to know her Hubby's salary details. Subsequently, Central Information Commission (CIC) ordered BSNL to furnish the required details.
Mr.Jain challenged the order passed by CIC by approaching a Single Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court and obtained a stay order. Then, Sunita Jain moved the Double Bench of the High Court and obtained an order that a wife is entitled to know her Hubby's pay package.
