Divorce granted for Man due to Wife's Low IQ

A Nagpur bench of Maharashtra High Court granted Divorce to a man on grounds that it's never easy to lead a happy married life with a woman whose IQ is low.
During the hearing, A Psychologist and Psychiatrist informed the Nagpur family court that an acceptable IQ was 90 and leading a happy married life with an individual with IQ falling under 70 is very difficult. The complaint have also produced an evidence established with regard to cruelty prompting the Court to grant him divorce.
However, The Woman with IQ 62 challenged the lower court's verdict in High Court. But, Even the High Court upheld the verdict of the family court.
The couple tied the knot on November 27th, 2009. While the man hails from Chhattisgarh, The woman is from Nagpur. After a heated argument in 2009, The woman broke her fingers and scratched herself. She used to quarrel for petty issues and even began threatening to commit suicide.
