Wild Animals Seized At Politician's Farmhouse By Officials!

In a shocking development, the officials raided a farmhouse and seized a few wild animals from the farmhouse that belong to a senior leader's son. Based on the information received, the Forest officials conducted a search at the farmhouse and found that wild animals are being kept there illegally.
As per the media reports the Karnataka Forest Department officials received a tip-off that a few wild animals are kept as pets in the farmhouse in Anekonda in Davangere. The farmhouse is located behind a rice mill.
The farmhouse allegedly belongs to senior Congress leader Shamnur Shivashankarappa's son, SS Mallikarjun Kalleshwar. A few wild animals were reportedly seized and a case was filed in this regard and further investigation is underway.
During the raids, the concerned officials reportedly found blackbucks, spotted deers, wild boars, mongooses, and jackals. While permission was sought for a few animals there is no permission for the rest of the animals and the officials are probing the matter.
Finding various species of wild animals together is a big shock for everyone. As deers, boars, jackals are others were seized, the officials are probing the matter from the angle of who sold the accused the animals which is prohibited as per the law.
Wild animals are not meant to be kept as pets in houses and farmhouses. If the animals that are seized are endangered species then it becomes a big crime and the punishment will be big. As the animals are reportedly seized at a farmhouse this became a piece of big news.
