Will Arch Rivals RJD, BJP Join Hands In Bihar?
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Nov 2020 3:48 AM GMTBihar is known for political opportunism. Mr Clean Nitish Kumar himself is famed for ditching allies and joining hands with arch rivals. So, will there be an unthinkable alliance after all the votes are counted. Will there be unimaginably shocking post-poll alliances.
Pundits who know Bihar politics say that if he does not get the required numbers and his tally hovers around 20 seats, Nitish might very well ditch the NDA alliance and join hands with the RJD. Thus he would help Tejaswi Yadav become the CM. This way, both the regional parties will join hands and leave the two national parties in the lurch.
Sources say that most poll pundits have predicted a hung assembly and no party is likely to get a majority. In that event, the RJD might even join hands with the BJP. Though this is highly unlikely, the pundits say that neither Modi nor RJD's Tejaswi Yadav have personally attacked one another anywhere during the election campaign. They steered clear of criticising one another. If this happens, both ageing Nitish Kumar and the Congress would be left high and dry.
In any combination, LJP's Chirag Paswan might emerge as the king maker. He has always been pally with the LJP and his opposition was only to the JDU and Nitish Kumar. So, as the trends become clear, each party might reveal their cards.
