Will ask our Boys to Rape Women: MP

Trinamool Congress MP Tapas Pal on Monday made headlines for all the wrong reasons. He threatened to rape the women members of the CPI which is the Opposition Party in West Bengal. "I will ask our boys to go and rape CPM women if necessary," he told.
Tapas Pal, the 54-year-old, is a two term MP from Krishnanagar in West Bengal. He was a popular Bangla actor in the 80s and 90s. It was a shame that a noted personality and someone who is in a respectable position made such an unacceptable statement.
Trinamool Congress party tried to distance itself from the remarks made by Tapas Pal. The party spokesperson informed Trinamool Congress isn't endorsing what Mr. Pal has said in his statement.
