Will BJP poach into KCR's stronghold?
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Jan 2021 12:58 PM GMTIs the BJP in Telangana aiming too big? Yes, but that's the style that new state party chief Bandi Sanjay has adopted. The BJP in Telangana now wants to poach into the TRS in KCR's burrough of Medak district. Yes. It wants to lure leaders from undivided Medak district.
The BjP has already lured Godavari Anjireddy from the Congress in Patancheru and made her contest the GHMC elections . Former minister Babu Mohan too is talking to leaders from both the Congress and the TRS into the BjP. Already, former MLA Nandeeshwar Goud and former ZPTC Srikanth Goud have left the Congress and joined the BJP. Senior Congress leader Sapan Deo too is said to be in line to join the BjP.
In Sangareddy district too several TRS leaders are said to be in talks with the BJP leaders. Former TDP MLA from Narayankhed, Vijaypal Reddy has already joined the BJP. There are strong rumours that Murali Yadav, a strong local leader and Narsapur Municipal chairperson, too is in talks with the BJP leaders. He has so far not refuted the reports of his leaving the TRS. He is keeping a distance from the TRS leaders. His wife is the former ZP chief in undivided Medak district.
If all goes well, within a matter of six months, several key leaders from various constituencies in the undivided Medak would be leaving their parties and join the BJP. Is KCR watching all this?
