Will BL Santosh's warning work in Telangana BJP?
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Aug 2021 3:52 AM GMTRecent visit of national organizing secretary BL Santosh has now become a topic of animated discussion in the Telangana BJP. The leaders are astonished at the kind of internal information that BL Santosh has about the goings on in the state BJP.
He is said to have severely reprimanded the 23 core committee members over each leader working at cross purposes. He asked why key leaders are not coming together to discuss important political issues. He referred several issues between important party functionaries and asked them to set their house in order. Santosh is said to have held one-on-one meetings with several crucial leaders and is said to have given an earful to them.
Another major issue he has touched is the lack of coordination between the new entrants into the party and the old-timers. He asked the old-timers to walk the extra mile to integrate the new entrants. He asked them to teach them the BJP working culture. This is being seen as a significant step as several key new entrants like Peddireddy have just left the party. Even Eatala Rajender too is keeping a distance from the state party office.
Interestingly, Santosh is said to be appreciative of the pro-active and bold approach of national vice-president DK Aruna. He reportedly told all the party leaders to adopt such a proactive approach in the rural interiors. He asked all the BJP workers to focus on achieving the objectives that the party has set for itself in Telangana.
