Will Telugu Desam chief Chandrababu get arrested? Is his arrest confirmed? This is the hot debate that is going on in Andhra Pradesh now. Former Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that no one can arrest Chandrababu. However, the Supreme Court recently gave a positive verdict on the SIT against the Amaravati Land irregularities.

AP Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that there is corruption in the Amaravati capital row and there would be arrests in the row. Minister from Vizag Gudivada Amarnath said that Chandrababu is fearing arrest and people involved in the Amaravati scam would come out if the SIT is formed.

Senior YCP Minister Botsa Satyanarayana also said that it is true that irregularities happened in the previous government. Saying that the TDP leaders went to the court to get a stay, Botsa said that all the irregularities would come out if the SIT investigation happens.

Former Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao gave a strong response from the TDP. Speaking from the TDP party office, Ganta dared if they can arrest Chandrababu. Saying that even the ruling party knows that it cannot do anything and they cannot do anything except for celebrating the court verdict.

Bonda Uma also reacted to this and asked why the party cannot file a chargesheet in the past four years and said the party cannot do anything as there is nothing wrong in Amaravati.

It is going to be a big task to prove the alleged allegations in the Amaravati row and show Chandrababu as a convict. If Chandrababu is arrested one year before the elections then it would be a big boost to the TDP. Will the YSRCP do this, well many say no. The parties are just making comments and counterclaims.

Many say that the allegations are just an effort to increase the political image. While the YSRCP is trying to push the TDP into defense, TDP is daring the ruling party to prove the allegations and arrest them. The political heat around the Amaravati issue is increasing with this. It appears that the row would not stop now.
