Will children of MLAs be sent for Govt schools, Mr Deputy CM?

The Andhra Pradesh government employees are continuing their protest against the PRC recommendations. Their protesting employees have hit the roads and the protests are going at a full josh. Various employee unions have extended their support to the protest against the newly announced recommendations.
The teachers working in the state-run schools are also protesting against the PRC issue. Holding placards and raising slogans against the government, the teachers took part in the protest.
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy had reacted sharply to the protests by the teachers. Alleging that the language used by the teachers is not good, the Deputy CM lashed out at the government teachers.
Calling the teaching profession a divine profession, the Deputy Chief Minister raised a few objections to the language that was used by the teachers against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Launching an attack on the employees and teachers, the Deputy said the way the employees and teachers are going in the protest is not acceptable. He advised them to sort out the issues by talking to the government instead of protesting by hitting the roads.
The Deputy Chief Minister asked where the Government teachers are sending their kids for education. The teachers take lakhs of salaries from the government and send their children to private schools. Why don't the teachers send their kids to government schools? The Deputy Chief Minister asked.
The Common people are asking why doesn't the same logic apply to the children of MLAs. They are asking where the kids of the legislators are studying. Will the same rule be applied to the children of legislators, they asked.
No matter how hard the governments are trying to renovate the schools and add infrastructure, children of the Government employees and legislators don't prefer the state-run schools, which is a big concern.
Encouraging the employees and teachers to send their kids to government schools is a good decision. But asking only them to do so is not good. The perception towards the state-run schools will change only if the leaders prefer government schools. Only this will help in attracting good footfall at the schools.
