Former Minister Chinna Reddy is now eyeing an MLC ticket. He wants to contest from the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar Graduates Constituency. And he is confident that he would get the Congress party ticket.
There is lot of demand for the Congress party ticket and there are at least 40 claimants for the graduate MLC ticket. Ever since veteran Congressman Jeevan Reddy won as an MLC from Karimnagar MLC graduates seat, the Congress leaders see a fair chance of winning the elections in Hyderabad seat too.
Meanwhile Chinna Reddy, who lost the 2018 assembly elections, is hopeful that he can easily win the seat if he is given an opportunity. Soft-spoken and helpful, Chinna Reddy is confident that he would get the votes of the graduates.
There is one more reason why he is confident of getting the party ticket. While he was incharge of the Congress party affairs for Tamil Nadu, he has promoted young Manickam Tagore and gave him lot of opportunities. It was because of this that Tagore had risen in the party ranks. Now that Tagore is the incharge for Telangana. So, Chinna Reddy hopes that he would get the ticket because of this link.
