Will IT Minister KTR bid goodbye to social Media?
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 May 2021 9:34 AM GMTTRS Working President and Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Ramarao aka KTR is quite active on social media. The Minister stays in touch with the public through Microblogging Site and in some instances, he helped the needy too.
During the testing times of the second wave of Covid, KTR had arranged help like hospital beds, oxygen facilities, and other supplies for the pandemic patients.
At the time when social media sites and the Union Government of India were locking horns over the rules that were issued for the social media sites, a social media user asked the same question to KTR.
Citing the media reports that Microblogging Site Twitter might be banned in India, a netizen wants to know what site would KTR prefer if the same happens.
Replying to the question, KTR said that he would prefer to quit Social Media if Twitter gets banned in India.
On the other hand, barring Twitter, Facebook and Google have officially agreed to comply with the guidelines issued by the Indian government. It is interesting to know what will be the response of Twitter.
