Will Kadiyam Srihari Join BJP?
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 Jun 2019 4:25 AM GMTFormer deputy chief minister and key TRS leader from Warangal, Kadiyam Srihari is on his way out. He might soon announce his resignation from the TRS and might join the BJP. Kadiyam Srihari, who has been sulking for quite some time over the way in which the party was treating him, is said to be actively considering joining the TRS.
Kadiyam Srihari has been unhappy ever since KCR denied him a ticket to fight the elections from Station Ghanpur assembly constituency in the recent assembly elections. KCR gave the party ticket to his arch-rival T Rajaiah. Not just that, KCR had even bluntly turned down his request for a Lok Sabha MP seat to his daughter Kavya. Since then, he has been keeping a low profile. In the recent panchayat elections too, his followers were not given tickets from Vardhannapet and Station Ghanpur.
Since then, Kadiyam Srihari was feeling completely ignored and left out. He had not met KCR in a long time. Even the party has begun giving him a short-shrift. On the state formation day this month, he was not given an opportunity to hoist the party flag. Instead, Errabelli Dayakar Rao was asked to do the honours even as Kadiyam was made to sit in the audience. All these incidents have forced his hand. Now, sources say he is actively considering joining the BJP. He is said to have got in touch with the BJP top brass. So, expect a lot of drama in Warangal soon.
