A prominent Telugu daily known to be highly obsequious to the TRS has published a banner story claiming that the time for the anointment has come. They say that KTR has come through in flying colours in all the tests that KCR had subjected him to and is eminently qualified to take over mantle from KCR. The debate, according to the daily, is picking pace as July 24 is KCR's birth day. The media organisation predicts that KCR might make a major announcement on that day.
The paper also argues that KCR always has an abiding interest in the national politics and has developed wide and deep relations with several national leaders across the political spectrum.
