Will KCR Step Back With The Court's Invention?
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Oct 2019 5:59 AM GMTEveryone thought that Telangana CM KCR might take a positive decision on the demands of the RTC workers. The High Court on Friday said that the people in interior agency areas are unable to access healthcare services due to the strikes, and ordered the government and RTC unions to resolve the matter within three days. The court also said that, solve the problems od RTC workers in a way that will put an end to the strike.
The talks with RTC workers should start at 10:30 am. It has been reported that the higher authorities were asked to attend a meeting at Pragathi Bhavan around 7-8 pm yesterday. Transport Department chief secretary Sunil Sharma, Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Sultania, and the higher officials in RTC attended the meeting.
They had a meeting with CMO additional secretary Rajasekhar Reddy. While they are busy with the meeting, CM KCR attended Medak SP Chandana Deepti's engagement reception. According to the reports, KCR didn't have a meeting with the officials and went directly to his home and asked his secretary to send all the officials as he is not ready to have a meeting with them. Interestingly, the High Court ordered them to hold a meeting but didn't say an alternative decision if they failed to follow the instructions.
If the reports are to be believed KCR has not taken the court instructions seriously and is in no mood to talk with RTC unions. With the next hearing on this case is on the 28th of this month, he is reportedly not stepping back in his decision on the strikes. There is no official information regarding the meeting with the RTC workers. May JAC leaders were arrested for participating in the strike. RTC is gearing up to intensify the strike from Sunday if there is no positive decision from the government. To see if the talks will take place or not we may have to wait till the official information comes.
