Will KCR Visit Nizamabad this time?

Will he or won't he... that's the question. Will Chief Minister KCR visit Nizamabad in April or not. This is the hotly debated issue these days in the undivided Nizamabad district. It's been more than two years and KCR has not paid even a single official visit to the undivided Nizamabad district.

So, there is lot of excitement surrounding the inauguration of the Nagamadugu Irrigation project in Jukkal. The MLA of the region, Hanmanth Shinde, met KCR and and secured his nod for the programme. KCR too has agreed to attend the programme and address a public meeting in either Nizamabad or Jukkal. However, in view of the rapid rise in Covid cases in neighbouring Maharashtra, the CMO does not want to take a chance. At the most, a simple inauguration of the project might happen and there may not be any public meeting.

Interestingly, KCR did not visit Nizamabad even once on an official tour. However, he came to Nizamabad district twice on personal visits, during which he did not address any meetings. It remains to be seen whether he would address a public meeting or not in undivided Nizamabad district.
