Will Kodandaram Regret Joining Kutami?
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Dec 2018 1:11 PM GMTProf Kodandaram played a crucial role in the formation of Telangana State. He was instrumental in bringing all the political parties, organizations and students under one roof during the movement. Differences with KCR during the Telangana Movement led to his downfall. Thereafter, Kodandaram floated Telangana Jana Samithi to emerge as an alternative for TRS.
While joining Mahakutami, The Professor sought 35 Seats for TJS. Congress kept reminding him that he can't demand so many seats and finally restricted TJS to 9 seats. Even in that, Congress fielded its candidates in 5 of them. TJS Fielded its candidates in Malkajgiri (Dileep Kumar), Siddipet (Bhavani Reddy), Vardannapeta (Devayya) and Amberpeta (Nizzana Ramesh). It have an understanding with Congress in Dubbaka, Warangal East, Asifabad, Miryalaguda and Mahabubnagar.
Party Leaders were crying foul that they they had made a back step even after announcing candidates in 12 constituencies. They complain that Congress Party has cheated them by delaying the seats allotment till the very end.
TJS have winning chances only in Malkajgiri and Miryalguda. TJS mayn't survive for another five years if it fails to win at least 3-4 seats.
