Will Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy Become BJP candidate for Nagarjunasagar?

Will the BJP field sitting MLA and senior Congressman Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy as its candidate for the Nagarjunasagar byelections? Komatireddy, who has not been active in the Congress politics, has often said that only BJP can take on the TRS juggernaut. Now, it appears he may well be the BJP candidate from Nagarjunasagar.
Komatireddy said the other day that the BJP has approached him with a proposal to become the party candidate from Nagarjunasagar. Komatireddy has all along been backing the BJP even while being in the Congress Party. He had also said in the past that he would join the BJP at the right time. His supporters feel that he might take a plunge and become a BJP candidate for the Nagarjunasagar byelections.
The Congress has already fielded former minister and senior leader K Jana Reddy. Jana has already launched his election campaign. But if Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy joins the fray, the contest would become quite interesting. The byelection became necessary due to the sudden demise of sitting MLA Nomula Narsimhaiah.
