Ever since his Delhi tour, Chief Minister KCR has been absolutely silent. If you thought he has been numbed into inaction, think again. KCR is said to be burning his midnight oil on how to counter the BJP's growth and belligerence in Telangana. Sources say he is working overtime to revamp the party's organisational set up.
He is said to be holding a series of meetings with his think-tank over the changes in the organisation. He is said to be mulling over bringing in his son KTR to the top position. As a young leader, KTR would be able to take on young Bandi Sanjay more effectively and match word for word.
There are also strong rumours that kCR might anoint his son KTR as the chief minister by Ugadi 2021. Interestingly, senior party MLA Reddya Naik made this comment recently on Thursday. Another buzz in the air is that both Harish Rao and Etela Rajendra would be made the working presidents of the party.
Sources say that KCR wants the party and the government to work in perfect coordination and leave no space for the BJP to enter and prosper. He feels that an energetic KTR would be the perfect man to lead the party.
