Will Parimal Nathwani Benefit AP?

Finally Reliace Mukesh Ambani's right hand man Parimal Nathwani is getting re-elected to the Rajya Sabha. This time from Andhra Pradesh and on YSRCP ticket. His victory, without doubt, is a foregone conclusion. Reliance baron Mukesh Ambani met YS Jagan sometime ago along with Parimal Nathwani. Since then, the rumour mill was abuzz with the stories of Parimal Nathwani being renominated. There were some suspence as no confirmation was forthcoming from the YSRCP.
Now it's fficial and Nathwani is now YSRCP MP. He has already thanked YS Jagan Mohan Reddy through Twitter and assured to protect the interests of Andhra Pradesh and to work for the welfare of the Telugus. Interestingly, this is not the first time that AP is sending a non-local to Rajya Sabha. GVL Narasimha Rao of the BJP was elected from AP despite the act that the BJP did not have the numbers. Ditto with Suresh Prabhu. Chandrababu Naidu got him elected from AP. Even Nirmala Sitharaman was elected this way.
But, what benefit will AP get by sending Nathwani from the state? Will he work for the welfare of the state? Did Jaga secure some kind of assurance from either Mukesh Ambani or Nathwani? Let's wait and see.
