Will Power Star play the real power game?

He may be a power star in films. But Power star Pawan Kalyan appears to be totally clueless when it comes to political power. He is finding it difficult to chart out his future political course on his own. Despite the star appeal and the popularity, he is unable to take the decisive plunge and enter the electoral fray on his own.
His dilemma appears to be whether to stay with the BJP or align with the TDP. In both cases, what he gains both personally as well as in party terms is practically nothing. If he aligns with the TDP, he may have to be content with less than 20 seats and play second fiddle to Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh Babu.
Conversely, if he aligns with the BJP, he may got more seats to contest, but the alliance has all the trappings of coming a cropper. What is interesting is Pawan Kalyan is exploring these two options but is not considering the third option - the option of contesting all the seats on his own. For this to happen, Pawan Kalyan has to focus fully on politics and build the organizational infrastructure in the right earnest.
As of now, Pawan Kalyan is in Delhi with his trusted lieutenant and political advisor Nadendla Manohar. He is meeting a host of BJP leaders in Delhi to discuss the political situation in Andhra Pradesh. He is also said to be focusing on the pending issues pertaining to the state. He is likely to spend whole of Wednesday in Delhi.
