Priyanka Gandhi might begin playing active role in politics anytime soon. She could be aiming 2019 Lok Sabha Polls for her grand entry.
Until now, Priyanka Gandhi restricted her role to campaigning for her Mother Sonia and Brother Rahul in Rae Bareli and Amethi Lok Sabha Segments. Health Issues of Sonia Gandhi might have made her take politics seriously. She, however, isn't keen to choose the safe bet, Rae Bareli.
Instead, Priyanka Gandhi may contest against Narendra Modi in Varanasi. This could be an attempt to send a strong indication to the Nation. Even a defeat in Varanasi will establish Priyanka Gandhi as a firebrand in the National Politics. There can't be a better way to take the fight against NaMo.
If Priyanka Gandhi contests against him in Varanasi, Narendra Modi will be under immense pressure to retain his seat at least with decent majority. Already, The combination of SP & BSP has been proving costly for BJP in Uttar Pradesh. Modi certainly don't want fresh trouble in the form of Gandhi Scion.
