Will revolutionary balladeer Take BJPs Route in Telangana?

Of late, the meetings of Bharatiya Janata Party leaders with various personalities are raising many eyebrows and new theories are popping up. Recently, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met Young Tiger NTR and Bollywood director Rohit Shetty in Hyderabad and Mumbai respectively. Discussions on the meetings are still going on.

In one such interesting meeting, revolutionary balladeer Gummadi Vittal Rao aka Gaddar met Bandi Sanjay, chief of the Telangana wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He met Bandi Sanjay at the BJP office along with members of the All India Confederation of SC/ST Organizations.

During the meeting, Gaddar requested Bandi Sanjay to propose Dr. BR Ambedkar’s name for the new Parliament building which will be opened very soon. He also asked Bandi Sanjay to raise the issue in Parliament.

The meeting between two personalities has raised two big questions. One is didn’t BJP find any name for the building. The BJP is on a spree of changing the names of structures and cities. Names that match their ideology are being changed. Allahabad was changed into Prajagraj.

Recently, the BJP changed the Indian navy flag. The saffron party added the blue colour royal seal inspired by the celebrated king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. We have been having the St George's Cross for many decades and the BJP changed it. Keeping all this in mind, the chances of the BJP considering the proposal made by Gaddar are very thin.

The second doubt many have is, was there any political angle behind the meeting? A few reports say that Gaddar might take the BJP route and would join the saffron party. It is said that the popular singer is reportedly very keen on venturing into politics.

There are no other options for Gaddar. The grand old Congress is not in a good position in Telangana that it can provide chances for aspiring people. Coming to the ruling TRS, a section of left leaders are reportedly not happy with TRS. Despite the communist parties coming together to support TRS for Munugode, a few leaders are not happy with the party. Keeping all these issues in mind, there is an opinion that Gaddar might take BJP's route.
