Will She Attract Modi's Attention?

As long as she was in the Telugu Desam Party as its spokesperson, Sadineni Yamini never sported her maiden suffix. She never used the Sharma suffix despite coming from a Brahmin background. She always used the surname of her husband, who is from the Kamma community.
Once the TDP went out of power, Yamini suddenly rediscovered the lost Brahmin surname and has kept her husband's surname too. So, now she is Sadineni Yamini Sharma. Not just that, she has rediscovered her Brahmin roots. She is now part of Brahmin social media groups and is quite active in espousing Brahmin causes. The latest is that she has been appointed as a 'brand ambassador' for the Viswanatha temple in Kashi. One does not really know why such a hugely famous pilgrimage centre needs a political non-starter like her as its brand ambassador. Kashi is so well-known that it hardly needs any icon to speak about it.
Sources in the know say that she has chosen Kashi as it is Prime Minister Modi's constituency and that she can get good attention if she works in Kashi. But, Modi is not someone who is impressed by showoffs. He can sift genuine work from showoffs.
