Will Shiv Sena Join Hands With BJP Again

Is Shiv Sena inching closer to the BJP again? The recent political developments indicate that the Shiv Sena is having second thoughts over aligning with the Congress and the NCP. CM Uddhav Thackeray has indicated that he would make a visit to Ayodhya soon. Immediately after that the Congress has asked him to get a nod from the Congress high command. This, shiv Sena found to be quite insulting.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena is also worried about the growing strength of Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Nava Nirman Sena. The MNS is inching closer to the BJP and is trying to appropriate Shiv Sena's abandoned Hindutwa plank. So, it feels, it would end up losing both the worlds. So, it is now getting ready to open some channels with the BJP.
Meanwhile, even the BJP seems to have realised that it has to make peace with the Shiv Sena as having Maharashtra in its kitty is every important. BJP senior leader Sudhir Mungantivar has said that the BJP has no problem joining hands with the Shiv Sena if the latter is OK with it. All these point out that the days of Congress-shiv Sena-NCP alliances are numbered.
