Will These Four Collectors Be Transferred?

The rumour mill is working overtime claiming that at least four district collectors would soon face the axe. The four district collectors have reportedly earned the wrath of the Chief Minister for their poor performance in Corona control.
The districts in question are: Guntur, Kurnool, Nellore and Krishna. All these four districts are recording lot of Corona positive cases. Especially, the number is rising alarmingly in Guntur and Kurnool districts. The district collectors of these four districts are facing flak for giving in to the pressures of the political bosses. Based on the oral instructions of the politicians, these collectors have reportedly let off Corona positive persons from the quarantine. As a result of this laxity, the number of Corona positive cases in increasing in these four districts. There is also a criticism that these collectors are not touring the district and are staying put in their chambers. As a result, they do not have any control over what is happening in the district, sources say.
