Will this leader be the real winner in Munugode bypolls?

Munugode byelections promise to be quite interesting. It has become quite important for all the three major political parties in Telangana. Hence all the three major parties - the TRS/BRS, the Congress and the BJP - are staking everything to win the bypolls. They are slogging out in the constituency long before the election notification is issued.
For the TRS, a victory would be a morale-booster. It will add one more MLA to its kitty. A defeat would mean that the party's stock is falling. It would also mean that the party would have a tough time in the 2023 election. For the BJP, a victory would establish it as the major challenger to the TRS. A defeat would mean a temporary break to the party's plans to wrest Telangana from the TRS.
The Congress Party appears to be in an unenviable position. But, it will establish the leadership of Revanth Reddy regardless of the party's victory or defeat. If the Congress wins the elections, it will establish Revanth Reddy as the tallest leader in the party. But, even if it loses, Revanth Reddy will still emerge as the most powerful leader.
According to political observers, the party is sure to axe Komatireddy Venkat Reddy after the elections. That will remove the last thorn on Revanth Reddy's path. The remaining challengers are aged and are staring at oblivion. So, this election will establish Revanth Reddy as the only leader in the party and the whole party mechanism would be in his hands.
Thus, regardless of who wins or loses, Revanth Reddy will be the ultimate beneficiary of the Munugode by-elections, say political watchers.
