Will Vangaveeti Radhakrishna rejoin YSRCP?
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 Sep 2021 3:01 PM GMTWhat is the future strategy of young leader and former MLA Vangaveeti Radhakrishna? Will he remain in the TDP or go back to the YSRCP? There are a lot of speculations about him and his political future. Sources say that Radhakrishna himself is undecided about his future course of action.
Until recently, he has been visiting Gudivada on a regular basis. This gave rise to rumours that he would be contesting from Gudivada in 2024. However, the Vangaveeti clan has never fought from Gudivada. They have always contested from Vijayawada Central or Vijayawada East. In 2004, Radhakrishna won from there.
However, of late, he began changing parties. He began his career with the Congress Party, but later joined the Praja Rajyam Party of Chiranjeevi. In the later developments, he joined the YSRCP. Ahead of the 2019 elections he joined the TDP and lost the elections. Of late, Radhakrishna is limited to organising programmes during his father's birth and death anniversaries alone. Beyond that, he has not been doing much. This has led to several of his old loyalists moving away from him.
Recently, he met his friend and YSRCP minister Kodali Nani at the residence of YSRCP leader Paleti Subramanyam in Gudivada Later, Nani and Radha met at a convention centre belonging to Nani. They met for over two hours. Since then, there have been speculations about Radhakrishna's future moves. There are rumours that he would go back to the YSRCP as he has got an assurance from Nani that he would be respectably rehabilitated. However, Radhakrishna himself has not spelt out his stand. Let's wait and watch how things unfold on the front.
