Will Warangal Throw Shutdown To winds on June 17?

The Bhadrakali Bund in Warangal is set for inauguration on June 17. Nothing wrong in that. The Bund has been in the making for over three years and it is long overdue.. So, TRS working president and minister KTR is going to come all the way to Warangala and inaugurate it. Nothing wrong again.
But the only problem is that it is happening in times of Lockdown and that the officials are making a hullabaloo about arrangements. They are planning to make this a big event. What if there is a big crowd and what if quarantine is thrown to winds? What if the occasion turns into a super spreader event with many people turning positive? Well! The officialdom apparently forgot the dire times we are living in and is bent on converting this into a PR occasion for the ruling party.
Interestingly, the Bund promises to be a tourist destination. One wonders how many people will really visit the bund especially in the present times of shutdown. The project was built with 90 per cent funds from the Central Government and the remainder fromthe State Government.
