Will young Greeshma be TDP's answer to YSRCP in Rajam?

The TDP, it appears, is determined to encourage young blood in politics. The party is promoting young leaders in several constituencies so that young faces would be in the fray in the 2024 assembly elections. For Rajam constituency in Vizianagaram district, the TDP leadership is pushing for young gun Kavali Greeshma.
Kavali Greeshma is the daughter of former AP assembly speaker Kavali Pratibha Bharathi. Educated and articulate, Greeshma is known to be a firebrand. She has already been appointed as the party's official spokesperson. She joined the TDP in 2017 and was tipped to be party candidate from Rajam. However, she had to make way for Kondru Murali Mohan, who lost the election to YSRCP's Kambala Jogulu.
Greeshma is quite active in Rajam constituency and is regularly attending programmes in the constituency. The party leadership too appears to be favourably inclined to make her the party candidate. Kavali Pratibha Bharathi too is pushing the case of Greeshma.
Till now, the TDP had only Vangalapudi Anitha as the strong female voice in the party. Now Greesha is expected to emerge as a strong and firebrand spokesperson. The party leaders too said that her performance has been quite satisfactory. Will Greeshma be able to win the election from Rajam in 2024 or will Kambala Jogulu go on to score a hattrick? Let's wait and see.
