When the last date to file the nomination for the election is approaching, usually the candidates focus on how effectively the nomination can be filed and woo the voters. But a person took a shocking decision and kept everyone talking. Before the last date of nomination, he tied the knot.
This happened in Uttar Pradesh. The Municipal elections in Rampur will be conducted soon and the last date for filing the nomination is the 17th of this month. One Mamun Khan, a strong leader from the Congress party, wanted to contest the elections and become the Rampur Municipal President yet again.
However, the Congress leader faced a big blow after he found that the seat was reserved for women. As he is not in the mood to leave the position, he wanted to make his wife run the polls. He straight away found a girl for this.
As per the media reports, he found a girl for marriage, and the marriage happened today. There Are two days left for the nomination and the bride will file the nomination soon. The 45-year-old Congress leader found a suitable girl in just 45 hours which came as a big surprise to everyone.
It appears that the Congress leader went too far to win the elections. Just to win the elections, he found a girl and married her. Many say that if his wife wins the elections, he will take care of the municipal body and render his services. This practice is quite common in the northern region of India.
