Woman COVID Patient Committed Suicide In Mumbai

The novel coronavirus originated from the Wuhan province of China not only resulted in the rise of positive cases worldwide but it also inculcated fear among the patients who tested positive for the virus who were trying to commit suicides.
One such incident took place in Mumbai, where a woman patient who tested positive for COVID-19 committed suicide in a hospital reportedly. This incident has created a sensation in the state.
Going into details, a few days back a woman was admitted to the BYL Nayar hospital in Mumbai after testing positive for the virus who was going through treatment. It has been reported that the lady went to the washroom at midnight on Wednesday and did not come out for a long time.
The medical staff became suspicious and went inside the bathroom and saw her hanging from the window with her Chunni. After examining her the doctors declared the lady dead.
Speaking about the shocking incident, the medical staff who treated her said that the lady appears to be sad for a time. A case was filed and the police are investigating the case.
