Woman Files A Rape Case On Senior Actor's Son

Senior Tamil Actor and AIADMK MLA, Suryakanths son Vijay Harish was arrested following a rape case complaint filed by an young student.
She alleged in her complaint that Vijay Harish invited her to a private flat room in Chennai on 2nd January and there he drugged her drinks. Later, he raped her and took nude videos of her, when she was unconscious.
She further alleged that she got scary messages and phone calls asking her to complete his 'indecent' requests. He has been calling her to join him whenever and wherever he asks her for 'love sessions'.
If she denies, he has been threatening to leak her videos on Internet, alleged the girl. She complained at All Women Police Station and the police arrested Vijay to take him to remand and investigate further.
His father, Suryakanth lashed out at the girls parents and said that his opposite numbers have tried many things to spoil his popular good image in public. He claimed that his son is being dragged into a political battle of hatred and nothing else.
Some sources reported that he is using all his connections in the AIADMK government to suppress the issue soon. Also, he is putting pressure on the girls family to come for an out-of-court amicable settlement, it seems.
