Woman gang raped by auto drivers in Hyderabad

Another brutal rape incident registered in Hyderabad city. A 29-year-old woman was gang-raped by two persons on Tuesday night. Police arrested the two culprits on Wednesday.The victim was working at beauty parlour and she was gang-raped by two auto drivers near Chintal area
The woman reportedly boarded an auto last night from Qutbullapur towards Chintal. The auto drivers duo who identified as Srikant and Suresh threatened her and the hapless lady was allegedly dragged into a secluded place and gang-raped by them
After the rape, the woman was dropped at Shahapur . The rapists threatened that she and her family would be hurt if she tried to resist or report the crime to the police.
The victim lodged a complaint with police today after which a case was registered . The incident highlights how necessary it is to have safe public transport.
