Woman quits Exam for asking to remove Mangalsutra

On November 11th, Lakhs of Candidates attended the Group Exam held by Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). At an examination center, The Invigilator asked a Woman to remove her mangalsutra before entering the hall. She, however, refused to do and hence not being allowed to write the exam. There was no change in the stand of the Invigilator even after the Woman's Hubby have given a detailed explanation of the sentiment attached to the Mangalsutra.
To prevent malpractices, State Governments have set few guidelines for the Invigilators and Candidates appear for exams. Advanced Gadgets, Purses, Gold Ornaments and etc., weren't allowed into the examination halls. Candidates need to be prepared for few compromises while appearing for Competitive Exams.
