Navjot Singh Sidhu had an unpleasant experience when he was campaigning for 3-time MP Deepender Hooda in Rohtak Constituency of Haryana. He was greeted with 'Modi Modi' chants at the venue. Thereafter, A Woman threw a chappal at him for allegedly targeting PM Narendra Modi during his campaign.
In Rohtak, Congress fielded Former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda's Son Deepender Hooda. BJP, on the other hand, preferred Arvind Singh who is a former Congress Leader. Election in this constituency will be happening in the Six Phase on May 12th.
Few days ago, Sidhu's Convoy was attacked with tomatoes in Rahul Gandhi's Amethi Constituency. A Group of men surrounded the convoy of the Congress Leader and raised the slogans of 'Sidhu Go Back'/'Pakistan Vapas Jao'.
Who is organising these attacks on the Former Indian Cricketer? The fact that they are happening in constituencies known to be Congress bastions raise many doubts.
