Girl uses body spray as breath freshener, dies

A 19 years old girl collapsed and died after using a perfume in her mouth to freshen. The incident was reported from Vastare village in Chikkamagaluru taluk of Karnataka.
Sudha, a resident of Vastare village in Chikkamagaluru taluk had come to her native place to celebrate Diwali with her parents. Sudha had applied make up and was dressed to go out on November 13. She had applied body spray on her clothes.
Thinking that body spray would add freshness to her breath, she sprayed some spray into her mouth too. The spray reached her stomach, and in a few minutes, Sudha started suffering from acute stomach pain and started screaming. Her parents immediately rushed her to a hospital in Mangaluru. Doctors tried hard but the body spray was so lethal and she did not respond to the treatment and died
Police are waiting for the post-mortem report of Sudha to determine the exact cause of her death and as of now a case has been registered in Aldur police station in Chikkamagaluru district.
