Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a reshuffle of the Union Cabinet on Wednesday. Not less than 43 members were given a place in the new cabinet expansion and the new cabinet Ministers took oath the other day at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Narendra Modi's new cabinet has a perfect balance of young leaders and experienced leaders. The 43 Union Council of Ministers, include 11 women Ministers, while seven of them were made Ministers for the first time.

The woman Ministers attended the oath-taking ceremony in a traditional saree look. The Cabinet Ministers donned Sarees that are famous in their respective states and their pictures are all over social media.

While Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will take care of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, as usual, Smriti Irani was allotted the Minister of Women and Child Development removing the Ministry of Textile. She used to hold both the Ministries earlier.

There is no change in the Ministries held by Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti(MoS in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution) and Renuka Singh Saruta(MOS in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs).

Seven women leaders were given a place in Narendra Modi’s new Cabinet and they took oath on Wednesday.

Bharatiya Janata Party's ally in Uttar Pradesh, Apna Dal leader Anupriya Patel was made the MoS in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Anupriya Patel has won from Mirzapur Lok Sabha's seat two times and held MoS in the Ministry of Health in Modi's cabinet during his first term as PM.

Karnataka's BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje was given the post of MoS in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. She earlier served as Cabinet Minister in Karnataka government.

Darshana Jardosh, who has won from the Surat MP constituency in Gujarat three times took oath as MoS in the Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Railways. Before representing Surat in the Parliament, Darshana Jardosh served as a Corporator and she was also a member of the Gujarat Social Welfare Board.

Lok Sabha Delhi MP Meenakshi Lekhi has been appointed as MoS in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Ministry of Culture. A former member of the New Delhi Municipal Corporation, Meenakshi Lekhi is a lawyer at the Supreme Court.

Lok Sabha MP of Jharkhand's Kodarma, Annpurna Devi was given the post of MoS in the Ministry of Education. She served as the irrigation and Women and Child Welfare Minister in the state government.

Pratima Bhoumik, who made it to the Parliament for the first time from Tripura West has been allocated the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment as a Minister of State (MoS).

Maharashtra's Dindori Lok Sabha MP Dr. Bharati Pawar, the first-time MP took charge as MoS in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Before becoming MP, Bharati Pawar served as a Zilla Parishad Nashik member.
