Women not far behind Men in Alcohol consumption

Who said only Men love getting drunk? A recent study proves women aren't far behind when it comes to consumption of alcohol.
As per the BMG Open survey, The percentage of women who drink alcohol has increased drastically. Especially, There isn't much difference between Men & Women in the age group of 30 & 40.
Currently, Only 1.1 Percentage gap exists between the alcohol consumption of Men and Women. In the study by Australia-based University of New South Wales, It was proven that high Alcohol intake is making people more prone to life-threatening diseases.
Even Alcohol Companies have been targeting Women through the Television commercials in the recent years. This is also a factor influencing the female population. Health Experts seen it as a dangerous trend and feel the necessity to create awareness about it.
